A few honest notes about how we handle inbound mail:
- General questions: we typically reply within 1–2 business days.
- Partnership inquiries: we read every one but they take longer — usually 3–5 business days. If we're not a fit we'll still let you know.
- Privacy and data requests: handled within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically 30–45 days, often much sooner).
- Pet medical questions: we're not vets and we can't give medical advice over email. If your pet is unwell, please contact your veterinarian. For emergencies, call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at 888-426-4435 or your local 24/7 emergency animal hospital.
- What we won't reply to: cold sales pitches, "guaranteed SEO" offers, AI-generated outreach, and link-exchange requests. No hard feelings — we just can't keep up.

How fast will you reply?
For general questions, usually within 1–2 business days. Partnership and press inquiries take a bit longer (3–5 days) because they typically need more context to answer well. Privacy and data requests are handled within the timeframe required by applicable law.
If you haven't heard back after a week, please assume the email was lost in spam and try again — we don't ignore people on purpose.
Can you give me veterinary or insurance advice over email?
No. We're not veterinarians, licensed insurance agents, or financial advisors, and we can't give specific advice for your pet or your situation over email — even if we wanted to.
For pet medical questions, please contact your veterinarian. For emergencies, call your local 24/7 emergency animal hospital, the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at 888-426-4435, or the Pet Poison Helpline at 855-764-7661 (fees may apply). For insurance policy questions, contact the insurer directly.
I spotted an error in one of your articles. What do I do?
Please email hello@comparepetcoverage.com with the article URL, the specific claim you think is wrong, and ideally a source we can verify against. We re-verify and update articles regularly and we genuinely appreciate corrections — getting things right matters more to us than being first.
Will you review or feature my pet brand or product?
Possibly. Send the details to partners@comparepetcoverage.com and we'll take a look. A few honest things to know up front:
We don't accept payment for positive coverage. We'll only write about products we've actually evaluated, and our editorial opinions stay our own — meaning we'll say a product isn't worth it when we think it isn't, regardless of any commercial relationship. If those terms don't work for your team, we're probably not the right fit, and that's fine.
